I was born and raised in Germany. I am married to the best men I can imagine and we have 3 beautiful girls together. I started my journey into photography as a hobby after my second child was born in 2008. I wanted to document everything: her first gummy smile, her first wobbly steps, and everything in between and after. Flow posing for a newborn mini session. Wrapping techniques included. How
to make more profit from a mini session compared to a full session.
I am in business since 2009.
For the same reason as many of us photographers do. I had my 2nd baby girl and was already interested in photography at this time. I started photographing her a lot and after a while friends were asking if I could photograph their children as well. I wanted to grow and get better in what I was doing so I started school to learn camera, lighting and photoshop basics. Short after it was not a hobby anymore and I decided to open a business. It did not take long for me to know that I wanted to specialize in newborns and babies.
I am married since 2007. My husband is in the German Air Force ( this was the reason why we lived in the US for almost 10 years ). We have 3 girls, ages 12, 9 & 6. We just moved back to Germany in July this year. My husband is always home if I am out of town for workshops. If I work at my studio, I work while the kids are in school.
So many favorite parts…..what should I say? BABIES!!! Who does not love babies 🙂 ? and I do love to work with people in general. I enjoy to get creative and I really love the teaching part. I get to meet so much wonderful people in my life. It is such a good feeling to watch my attendees grow after they attended one of my workshops.
The most important marketing tip for me is to treat your clients like a king. Word of mouth is still the best marketing you can get and they will recommend you everywhere if they loved the experience at your studio.

I have so many. But if I have to choose just one I it is one of my favorite wooden bucket.
I guess I just want to keep it like it is. I am happy with how everything works out for me and my family.
You can do whatever you want. You just always have to do it the best you can and you can make your dreams come true if you work hard for it.
So many things. I can recommend everyone who is starting out to take a workshop as soon as you can. It will save you a lot of time and money to know the right things to do and to buy when you just start.

I wanted to document everything: her first gummy smile, her first wobbly steps, and everything in between and after. I poured myself into documenting the special moments in my daughter´s life whole heartedly. In the process I started to learn not only the technical details that make a competent photographer, but also how to record my daughter´s milestones in unique ways. I knew pretty quick that newborn photography is what I wanna specialize in and what I really enjoyed doing. Capturing all the little details of a brand new life is what I fall in love with.
